Sarah Jane Stehly
Sarah Jane Stehly knows what it takes to grow — because she’s lived it. Over a 32-year career at one of the nation’s largest health systems, she rose from recruiter to Vice President of Human Resources, leading through hospital openings, large-scale organizational change, and the daily complexity of guiding people through their most challenging professional moments.
Now, as the founder of SJS Coaching & Consulting, Sarah brings that same depth of experience to the individuals and leaders she serves. As a certified executive coach and Gallup StrengthsFinder Coach, she helps clients clarify their goals, unlock their strengths, and build the confidence & accountability systems to move forward — whether they’re navigating a career transition, stepping into a new leadership role, or simply ready to live more intentionally.
Sarah’s understanding of business extends well beyond the corporate world. As the founder of Wee Folktales, a multi-platform online retail brand she has grown and managed since 2017, she has hands-on experience in commercial sales, product strategy, digital marketing, and customer engagement — giving her a grounded perspective on what it takes to build something from scratch and keep it thriving.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources (Honors) from Keller Graduate School of Management and is completing a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology. Her coaching is grounded in evidence-based frameworks, including PROSCI Change Management, and a genuine belief that every person has what it takes to create meaningful change.
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sarah is also an active community leader, serving on boards including the Gateway Community College Foundation and the Hope Center Waukesha.
If you’re ready to stop waiting and start becoming, Sarah would love to connect.
